Radio News Studio generates the content files. Your existing radio automation system decides when they go on air.
It works perfectly alongside RadioBOSS, but is not tied to RadioBOSS. Any playout system capable of playing generated audio files can use the output.

Gemini & OpenAI Support
Radio News Studio supports Google Gemini and OpenAI for text generation.
You can select one of the included recommended models or enter another supported model ID yourself, making the software flexible when AI providers introduce new models.
For spoken audio, Radio News Studio uses Google Gemini TTS to create broadcast-ready MP3 files.
Even when OpenAI generates the text, Gemini TTS can create the final spoken audio.

Generate your content before it is needed on air.
For example, Radio News Studio can automatically create fresh news at 18:45, traffic at 18:47 and have both MP3 files ready for your radio automation system to play at 19:00.
The integrated system status clearly shows whether the background service is running:

Windows 10/11 recommended.
An internet connection is required for web research and AI generation.
You will need your own Google Gemini and/or OpenAI API credentials depending on the features you want to use.
Windows SmartScreen Notice
Radio News Studio may be distributed without an established commercial code-signing reputation. Because of this, Microsoft Windows SmartScreen may display an “Unknown Publisher” or reputation warning when the installer is started for the first time.
This does not automatically mean that the installer is unsafe. Such warnings can appear with new, unsigned or not-yet-reputation-established Windows applications.
Only use the installer obtained from the official Radio News Studio shop/download source.
If Windows Defender or another security product reports a specific named malware or Trojan detection, do not simply bypass or whitelist it. Stop the installation and contact support so the installer can be verified.
